Basil Infused Whipped Cream

Description

Fresh Basil gives this whipped cream a fresh complex note. Let the fridge do the work, while you reap the tasty benefits!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 3/4 Cup chopped Basil, Packed
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar

Instructions

  1. Add chopped basil, and heavy whipping cream to a small bowl. Refrigerate for about 7 hours
  2. Remove from fridge, and strain into a medium bowl, making sure to gently press out as much cream as possible
  3. Add Sugar
  4. Use a whisk, or mixer with a whisk attachment, and whip until stiff peaks form
  5. Use immediately, or refrigerate for later use

Notes

Experiment with other flavors, or adding more or less basil for a stronger or more mild infusion!
