Crust
- Favorite Pie Crust Recipe
Filling
- 4 Cups seedless Red Grapes
- 3 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Cornstarch
- 1/4 Tsp fresh Cracked Black Pepper
- 1/4 Tsp Fine Sea Salt
Glaze
- 3 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Rye Whiskey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 F
- In a large bowl, mix together filling ingredients
- Roll out dough onto parchment paper into about 1/4 inch thick circle, about 12 inches in diameterÂ
- Place filling in the center and fold rough crust edges in to overlap filling
- Brush the crust with egg was or heavy cream, and if you want, sprinkle with sugar
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or so until you get a nice golden brownÂ
- While galette is baking, add glaze ingredients into a small pot and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat when smooth and slightly thickened
- After the galette is don baking, drizzle with glaze, and serve with vanilla ice cream
