This decadent creation courtesy of stylist Traci Page packs a serious punch in the department of delicious. A result of roasted grapes mingling with honey and rye whiskey inside a rustic crust.

Thank you to the stylists

This post is 1 of 3 coming courtesy of stylists Stephanie Greenwood, and Traci Paga. I had a blast getting creative in the studio with these talented ladies. Please check out Stephanie’s instagram, @stephaniegreenwood_foodstylist to see more work.

Get ready to drool

Seriously, have some napkins ready when you make this bad boy, because the smells that fill your kitchen will bring people drooling from every corner of your home. Traci prepared this for us on a creative day in the studio, and the place has never smelled so amazing. I want to bottle it up and send to Yankee candle for their next scent “Traci’s Roasted Grape Galette”.

Rustic charm

Aside from the incredible smells, all other aesthetic aspects of this galette are impressive as well. In case any of you don’t know, a galette is basically a free formed pie. Instead of being cooked inside a pie dish, the crust is folded over the edges to keep all the deliciousness contained. The resulting crust gets perfectly browned and crisp. I love the way you see the grapes inside. It has such graphic look, full of rustic charm.

Flavor that doesn’t let you down

Any time a dish has roasted grapes, you know you’re in for a treat. Grapes develop an incredible deep flavor when roasted. In this recipe, you’re also getting a glaze of honey, and rye whiskey. To make the experience truly out of this world, top with vanilla ice cream, and of corse sip with a good rye whiskey. Anyone who doesn’t get excited by the sound of that should just go eat a carrot, because you don’t deserve this dessert.
